IT Specialist

The IT Specialist supports the day-to-day technology needs of The Ancestry Suites, ensuring that all systems, equipment, and connectivity function smoothly to support operations, staff, and guests.

    • Maintain and monitor internet, Wi-Fi, and network systems across the property

    • Provide basic technical support for staff computers, printers, POS, and office equipment

    • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues promptly

    • Ensure proper setup and maintenance of CCTV, access systems, and other basic IT equipment

    • Assist with system updates, data backups, and basic cybersecurity practices

    • Coordinate with external IT vendors when needed

    • Ensure minimal downtime to support daily hotel operations

    • Graduate of IT, Computer Science, or a related field

    • Basic knowledge of networks, hardware, and software troubleshooting

    • Experience in hospitality or service environments is an advantage

    • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to respond to urgent technical concerns

    • Good communication skills and a service-oriented mindset

Guest Service – Front Office

A Guest Service – Front Office plays a key role in ensuring smooth operations at the front desk of hotels, resorts, or other establishments. The position involves welcoming and assisting guests, handling inquiries, and coordinating various guest services.

    • Perform Guest Services duties - greet, meet and assist all guests with a warm, professional demeanor.

    • Provide information and assistance to guests about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.

    • Manage reservations, room assignments, and room availability in the hotels property management system.

    • Process room reservations, cancellations, and modifications as required.

    • Handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment, ensuring accurate transaction processing.

    • Relay important guest information, requests, or special instructions to the appropriate departments.

    • Maintain accurate records of guest information, bookings, and financial transactions.

    • Assist with administrative tasks related to front desk operations as needed.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.

    • Previous experience in a customer service role is an advantage.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer operations.
